Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a clinical profession that specializes in movement and function, promoting wellness and improving quality of life. Passive and active exercises (massage, mobilizations, electrotherapy, ultrasound, shock waves therapy …) are two solutions used by physiotherapy experts. These solutions are both preventive and therapeutic.

Physiotherapy can be the main treatment for a number of conditions or combined with other medical treatments.

Physiotherapy is used in prevention, treatment and rehabilitation in neurology (e.g.: stroke rehabilitation), pneumology (bronchiolitis, chronic bronchitis, …), trauma (sprains, fractures, tendonitis ..), in rheumatology (e.g.: low back pain), in cardiology (retraining exercise, …), in urogynecology (post-partum, urinary incontinence) and also in aesthetics (cellulitis, …).
