To provide the best quality eye screening and treatment.

Our difference

The ophthalmologist’s work is divided into three parts:

  • Eye and visual system examination
Examination of ocular health may not only include measurement of vision (far and near), but may also include a check of the extra-ocular muscles, reactivity to contrast, to light, spatial pattern, colour vision screening and visual fields. Many general diseases may affect the eyes.
  • Diagnoses
Some ocular pathologies diagnosed by the ophthalmologist may be remarkable like infectious conjunctivitis or unnoticeable like glaucoma. One can be treated with medicine (eye-drops) and the other requires surgery.
  • Surgery
Cataract surgery is now an effective and common treatment of this disorder. Currently, ophthalmologists are using different surgical procedures such as laser refractive surgery to treat myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism. Extra-ocular muscle surgery for strabismus and surgery for glaucoma are also possible, as well as eyelid and lachrymal apparatus surgeries. Should surgery be required, CMI will refer you to the most appropriate hospital.

Partnerships with international hospitals were established to allow surgical treatment if necessary.
